Hi! I'm Trine

My work is about guiding you back to yourself – reconnecting with the innate freedom within and embracing every part of your humanity. I believe in the intimacy of connecting self to self, self to others, and self to the world around us, where true transformation happens.

As an accredited IFS practitioner and lifelong student of yoga, I am here to support you on this journey of self-discovery. We’ll work together to clear what blocks your path and reconnect you to the natural harmony within. This work is about learning to live from the center of your being, with compassion, curiosity, and care.

My own journey has led me across continents, through decades of practice and inquiry, learning from many traditions and mentors. This path of healing has shown me the resonance that emerges when we embrace every facet of ourselves – finding freedom, healing, and connection.

Let’s dive deeper together.

My Journey

My journey into self-discovery began with a deep-rooted curiosity about the mind, body, and spirit, and has been guided by a commitment to both personal healing and the desire to support others on their paths. Over 20 years ago, I stepped into the world of yoga, finding in it not only physical strength but a doorway to self-compassion and inner peace. My passion for yoga, somatics, and mindfulness grew as I led thousands of students on the mat, in retreat spaces, and through immersive trainings. I discovered how these practices could become profound tools for transformation, both individually and in community.

As my journey evolved, I was introduced to Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy in 2017, and its impact was immediate. I recognized in IFS a model that allowed for a compassionate embrace of all our inner parts, a framework that beautifully aligned with my somatic practices. Drawn by its depth, I completed the IFS Institute’s practitioner training (levels 1, 2, & 3), weaving its principles into my teachings and sessions to help people reconnect with a deep sense of safety and wholeness within themselves.

My personal path has led me to train with some of the most respected mentors in somatics, yoga, and mindfulness, expanding my approach to include not only the body but also the nervous system and mind. Now, as an accredited IFS practitioner, endorsed Insight Yoga teacher, and experienced somatic guide, I bring together decades of learning to support others as they journey inward – reconnecting with their authentic selves, building resilience, and finding their own sense of purpose and peace.

It is an honor to be part of this work, and I invite you to join me in exploring the full spectrum of your humanity with compassion, curiosity, and care.

What is IFS?

IFS (Internal Family Systems) is an evidens-based psycho-emotional framework for fostering non-judgmental self-compassion. IFS’s core premise is that we have a multiplicity of personalities, or “parts,” within us and that all parts of us are fundamentally good. When we experience hardship and trauma and don’t have the support we need to help us through, parts of us become wounded and begin to hold burdens. As we get older, these burdened parts take on extreme roles that go through great measures to protect the young, wounded parts of us that they locked away long ago.

Amidst all of this, we all have a place inside of us (that IFS calls our Self) that has never been wounded and can handle anything life serves us. From this place within, we experience more expansive states of being like calmness and compassion, confidence and courage.

When we access this state of being and bring it to the parts of ourselves that have been cut off from it for years (often decades), old traumas can receive the love they’ve always needed and we begin to heal at the deepest level.
