Hi! I'm Trine

My work is about guiding you back to yourself—reconnecting with the innate wisdom within and embracing every part of you. We create deeper connections between you and your parts, between the parts, and with the world around you. It’s through these connections that true transformation happens.

As a certified Somatic IFS psychotherapist through the IFS Institute - and a lifelong student of yoga and somatics, I am here to support you on this journey of self-discovery. We’ll work together to clear what blocks your path and reconnect you to an embodied sense of self within. This work is about learning to live from the center of your being, with compassion, curiosity, and care.

My own journey has led me across continents, through decades of practice and inquiry, learning from many traditions, teachers and mentors. This path of healing has shown me the resonance that emerges when we embrace every facet of ourselves. Through integrating somatic practices with IFS, I’ve seen firsthand how the body’s wisdom deepens this healing, helping us move through life with greater awareness, balance, and wholeness.

Let’s dive deeper together.

My Journey

My journey into self-discovery began with a deep-rooted curiosity about the mind, body, and spirit, and has been guided by a commitment to both personal healing and the desire to support others on their paths. Over 20 years ago, I stepped into the world of yoga, finding in it not only physical strength but a doorway to self-compassion and inner peace. My passion for yoga, somatics, and mindfulness grew as I led thousands of students on the mat, in retreat spaces, and through immersive trainings. I discovered how these practices could become profound tools for transformation, both individually and in community.

As my journey evolved, I was introduced to Internal Family Systems (IFS) in 2015, and its impact was profound. I recognized in IFS a model that allowed for a compassionate embrace of all our inner parts, a framework that beautifully aligned with my somatic practices. Drawn by its depth, I completed the IFS Institute’s level 1, 2, & 3 trainings, incorporating its principles into my sessions to help people reconnect with a deep sense of safety and wholeness within themselves.

My personal path has led me to train with some of the most respected mentors in somatics, yoga, and mindfulness, expanding my approach to include not only the body but also the nervous system and mind. Now, as an certified IFS Therapist, endorsed Insight Yoga teacher, and experienced somatic facilitator, I bring together decades of learning to support others as they journey inward – reconnecting with their authentic selves, building resilience, and finding their own sense of purpose and peace.

It’d be a privilege to guide you in this work, and I invite you to explore the full range of your being with compassion, curiosity, and presence.

What is IFS?

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic approach that helps us understand and connect with the different "parts" of ourselves—each with its own needs and stories. Over time, especially through trauma or challenging life experiences, some of these parts can become wounded or protective. IFS supports you in embracing these parts with compassion, guiding them back into balance and harmony. By reconnecting with your core Self — a place of calm, confidence, and wisdom — you can release long-held burdens, and cultivate a more compassionate and embodied way of living.
